11 October 2009 |
1. Mast&gen trim: Alexis 2. Pit: Miguel 3. Jib trim: Wouter 4. Mainsail: Carlos 5. Helm: Thomas |
Racing prematurely abandoned when the helmsman's head was severly hit by the boom when performing a 720 penalty only a few minutes after the first start. In Dutch we say "eigen schuld dikke bult". |

The first time we sailed in this configuration. Much attention went to the handling, much less to tactics. We enjoyed the beautiful sailing conditions very much. |

Grevelingen Winter Cup 2009-2010 |
7 February 2010
|
1. Mast&gen trim: Alexis 2. Pit&gen trim: Wouter 3. Jib trim: Miguel 4. Mainsail: Fleur 5. Helm: Thomas |
Ice cold moist conditions in a light north easterly breeze under a grey foggy sky. Smooth highly enjoyable sailing in the back of the pack but still in close contact. The team was joined by Fleur at mainsail, she has a fine and delicate trim. The fore guard is making excellent progress in boathandling. Next step is improving tactics and fine tuning boatspeed. |

Grevelingen Winter Cup 2009-2010 |
14 March 2010 |
1. Mast&gen trim: Alexis 2. Pit&gen trim: Wouter 3. Jib trim: Miguel 4. Mainsail: Yorick 5. Helm: Thomas |
WNW 3-4, some gusts. Good boatspeed, tactics ok but boathandling slowed us down, especially at the downwind mark when swift chute dousing was needed. For once we needed the knife to cut the starboard jib sheet which got completely stuck round the whinch. |
